I have taken over doing live video for my church. The obs system is already set up to go live on FaceBook with a video camera. Now I can't get a picture to show, just the sound. I got a new HDMi cord, but no luck. I am also fairly technology challenged, just going through the steps I was taught.
Would the next step be a new camera? Or is there something else I can try?

What's in your scenes? Can you post some screenshots?

If it's HDMI, and you're getting audio through that, then the cord is fine. Same wires for both.

(Looking into how an HDMI signal actually works, there's some "dead time" between lines and between frames, probably as a holdover from the original analog standards that had to wait for the furniture-TV circuitry to reset before it could draw the next one. HDMI still has that "dead time" today, and that's when the corresponding amount of audio is sent, using the same wires. So if you're getting anything at all through that cord, then it'll carry the rest just fine too.)
