Question / Help Video recording keeps Freezing and lagging

hello, i use obs to record games to make movies, ive had this problem before but updating it fixed it but theres no update this time, ive recorded with much higher settings then i do now with no problem, please tell me what you would need to fix my problem, im quite mad right now cuz ive recorded the same things 2 times thinking it wasnt obs and that has taken me several hours
