Video Recording is a slide show

I recorded a couple videos that ended up being slide shows that only changed every couple minutes. I'm using a 7800X3D and an 7900 XTX, I recorded a 6880x1440 (yes i wanted to get the game and discord in one recording and I have ultrawide) in 60fps using the AV1 encoder, .mkv, 80Mbps. The recording was like 12GB and 1:40:00 and the audio was normal but the video was a slow powerpoint. I've used the same settings doing a 3440x1440 video for 30mins and it was fine and it took up 9Gb of space. I don't mind the video size but I just want it to work and have a normal frame rate?

Seems your GPU or encoder is overloaded. If you still have a log of that recording, post that.

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

This is either from the recording that got interrupted by a random freeze and restart (its been happening recently idk why) or its from the recording I started after that, both should have the same settings and i dont know which it its

It looks like this happened because your Base and Output resolution were set to 6880x1440. There was no encoder overload in the 3440x1440 recording.

Run OBS as Admin. Right click on the OBS shortcut, properties, advanced, check box, ok, apply, ok.
