Question / Help Video Output Stuttering

I've been trying to record resident evil 5 using OBS. The recording goes smoothly without any issues however the video when played back has stuttering issues. The log file is barely duplicating frames

That's some frametime spikes going on in this session. You need to be below 16.7ms to record well when going at 60fps. Best bet is to use Vsync since Resident Evil 5 lacks an in-game setting to cap the FPS.

Vysnc is enabled. Tried to record again with lower settings and still having the same issue. However the issue is resolved when I play the game using directx10

But I've installed a colour mod which only works on directx9 so I would like to figure out what's causing the stutter.

Used MSI afterburner to moniter GPU/ CPU usage. CPU is around 50-60% usage and GPU around 70-80%. FPS is 58-60fps. Never drops below 58
