Question / Help Video only ok, audio very choppy

I run a macbook pro (though I eventually want something better) with a Windows 10 partition. My setup is a AverCapture HD for my game video and audio. For party chat I actually start a party on the xbox app and then use the desktop audio on OBS since it's the only audio running.

Internet is 5mbps down and 55 up (I read on the guide that speedtest is a bad indicator but I don't know how to test it better). I started with my output resolution at 1136x710 and it was choppy, so i lowered it to 1024x640 and then finally to 928x510. The last two seemed ok for video. My bitrate is at 1800

My biggest problem is that the audio was atrocious. It was extremely choppy.

Log file is attached from pastebin

and here is a video of the stream

I tried to follow the setup tutorials on here and struggled. Are there any settings that jump out at you guys?

Thanks in advance
James

Apologies, if you watch the video you need to skip to the middle to hear the choppy audio from the capture device.

Bump? Update- I bought the best modem i could find, upgraded my internet to 300mbps down and 20up. Still audio is choppy as heck. At least I know it isn't bandwidth.

It has to be a setting? Maybe my computer? I know macs aren't powerhouses but I didn't think it is a slouch either.

I have the same issue as well with an Avermedia LGX and a Logitech C930e webcam. Stream starts out fine, but anywhere between 5 minutes and 2 hours later, all audio suddenly becomes very choppy. Only a restart of OBS helps in that case.

Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated!
