video lock up on M2

I have been streaming and recording video for upload for my church for about a year and a half. We started with a 15 year old Mac Pro. That machine suffered a fatal malfunction. I moved to my laptop with an M1 chip with no problem. We then purchased a Mini with an M2 chip and on our first stream suffered a video lockup. Nearly every time I run OBS on the M2 chip the video locks up while the audio continues. I can unplug the video source and reconnect and OBS continues to show the same frozen image. I can dump the video source and choose a new one and there is no change. I have not had this issue on the M1 chip.

I guess I don't care what is causing the lockup, I just want to know how to prevent it or at least recover from it without loosing my stream.

Hello, this happened today to me during a livestream. I am on Mac but it is an Intel Machine (imac pro). I am on the last OBS version 30.0.2. Are you on that version too?
