Hi All,
We live stream our church services with two iPhones, currently one iPhone SE (2020 model) and an iPhone 12 Pro. (Sometimes it is two iPhone SEs and sometimes with an iPhone X or 8). (The iPhone images from the SE and 12 pro are fantastic if don't zoom too much). We are using OBS 26.1 and the latest updates for Camera for OBS. Our audio is from our church mixer through a digital audio interface (a M-Audio 192|8). We have a 2019/2020 Dell laptop with an Intel i7 chip with 16GB Ram and the latest updates for Windows 10 64bit with automatic updates turned off. We use .x264 and not the Nvidia encoding. We ensure all apps are closed on the iPhones and that bluetooth, WiFi and Cellular are turned off. Other than Firefox and OBS, no other apps are running on our laptop. We only stream to YouTube at 1080p, 30fps, at a bitrate of 6,000 or 7,000.
Things had been going great until recently. About ten days ago we started to get significant video latency at times, where the video lagged behind the audio. Sometimes it was with just one iPhone and sometimes with both iPhones. I reinstalled OBS and the Camera for OBS plugin. I delete all the iOS sources from our scenes and then added back in. No real errors show in our logs.
Any thoughts or ideas on causes or remedies?
Thanks.
