Hello All,

For some reason just recently my videos that I am recording, when played back are skipping and lagging and not synched with the audio 100%. I tried to close out non-essential programs in the background. No change. HELP! Need to produce a video to send to a client 12-19-20 morning. THANKS! See attached log file. Please advise to the steps needed to correct as if you were talking to an 8 year old ;)

Much thanks,

Craig

I'm not an expert, so less than $0.02 in advice here

You logs indicate rendering lag (ie trying to do more than GPU can handle)
towards the bottom of the log is real bad with
15:14:25.957: Output 'simple_file_output': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 113 (1.2%)
15:14:25.961: Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 2957/9284 (31.9%)

Also, when did you last reboot PC? ideally 15-30 minutes before setting up to stream (time to settle down)
Did you recently update OBS version from v25? The log shows AAC (audio) encoder not loading or installed. Read the guide/requirements ... I'm not sure if this might be part of your issue

Sorry, free software, and I only have a minute, so no time for me to write simplistic instructions
Are you using Task Manager/Resource Monitor to check hardware utilization (CPU, GPU, RAM, network and disk I/O)? I'm wondering if decoding pre-recorded video in OBS and trying to encode video stream is too much for Intel UHD Graphics 620
if you are dealing with GPU contention, you may need to run as Administrator (but beware OS profile implications (ie all OBS settings tied to user profile)

Why is Game DVR mode enabled?
You are recording to a fast enough disk drive right? preferably SSD (may or may not make a difference, I just prefer to avoid obvious potential bottlenecks
