Video Lag/Low FPS

Hi guys,

I'm not sure how to better describe it, but the recordings I'm making look like they're in 2 FPS. The sound is good, but the video is massively laggy. I started using OBS today and set it up using a YouTube guide, and it was fine. The first couple of videos were okay, but suddenly I started having this issue.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Please review and folow directions and configurations on the analyzer:

OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) is free and open source software for video recording and live streaming. Stream to Twitch, YouTube and many other providers or record your own videos with high quality H264 / AAC encoding.

After fixing those, try using 20 CQP and p5 or p4 preset.
Don't follow video settings recommendations.
The best way que get good quality settings is to run the Auto-configuration Wizard (tools menu) and apply the setting it gives. Restart OBS and test as is. Do NOT change anything and do not use advanced output. If the test goes well, now change the quality preset for a better one and test again.

You may need to change the output canvas in case the wizard didn't selected a correct one but try using the same as the base canvas. You may need to use only 30fps if 60fps is too high.
