Question / Help Video lag issues but no lost frames...

Hi All,

Hate to make my first post a cry for help but...

I recently invested in a new system so that I can start recording and streaming games. if I am not working I am playing games and would like to finally get involved in the streaming community. I have been playing around with recording Dark Souls 2 speed runs but notice when I view the videos back, I get horrible lag and frame loss.

I have literally spent the last 3 hours reading through previous posts and watching Tube videos on how to fix the problem, with no success.

When I look at the stats on OBS, it shows 0 frames lost and super low CPU usage.

Can anyone help? Most recent log and stats below;

Thanks in advance.

According to the log and according to your screenshot, the recording went perfectly. According to the log, the resulting video should be flawless. Do the same lags at playback happen with a different media player, for example with VLC?

By the way, don't use CBR for recording. Use a quality-based rate control. With NVENC, use CQP. Or just use simple output mode and choose "Indistinguishable Quality".
