Question / Help Video is very choppy!

The video is extremely choppy on OBS for me. Even when I'm not streaming it is very obvious that the video is lagging. I'm trying to stream Xbox One games (60fps) through an Elgato capture card then onto OBS. The video quality is perfect on the Elgato but gets very bad when I use OBS. What should I do?

Does it work better if you reduce to 30fps? 720p60 might be a bit much for that CPU.

It just looks choppy no matter what the fps is

What if you remove the Window capture and use Display capture instead, and just resize the display capture so it is only showing the Elgato window?

Alternatively, you can try installing EyeTV from Elgato and capture that with Syphon.
