Hi We have been doing weekly live-streams using OBS from a 2018 MacBook Oro running Catalina.
We are streaming to Castr and then in to Facebook, YT, and Twitch.
Basically 6 live-streams in a row went off without a hitch. Then we moved location to a place where we need to use a 4G mobile router.
The first time in the new location worked great.
The second time the video went all glitchy although audio was Ok. The upload speed in OBS seemed to be dropping and the box stopped being green.
Speed tests on the internet connection didn’t show anything - Ie upload speeds seemed fine.
Eventually we rebooted laptop and set it all up again and then it started working fine.
Yesterday y same thing happened - OBS was hooked up to Castr and in FB and YT . 10 minutes in upload speed in OBS started dropping and video went gltitchy.
We restarted OBS Once tried again missing out Castr and going straight to Facebook. But same deal - and then restarted the laptop the second time and then it all started working.
Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot this:
Is it an internet connection problem?
A MacBook Pro problem?
a Castr problem....
