Hello,

i am using two cheap capture cards from amazon (15$ each (cheap camlink)) to capture the HDMI Output of one Canon M50 and one Sony A7. Didn't had problems in the past with these cards. One is namend "USB Video" and one is named "usb video", so now i have the problem, that from time to time, sometimes after 10min, sometimes after 40min one of the video feeds is freezing in OBS. I already switched camera/caputecard/HDMI cable combinations and the problem didn't seem to come frome a specific of the two cards. Both showed the issue, so i guess either they dont have a stable USB or HDMI connection and the feed in OBS freezes after the connection was cut for a second or it is something in OBS? When the video freezes i don't have to unplug and replug the card or restart the camera, what is solving the problem is removing the video capute device in OBS and adding it again, than the videofeed works again, so it didn't seem like the capturecards are freezing or the connection isn't there anymore. Any ideal what could be the problem and how to solve it?

I have the same problem using a FEELWORLD LivePro and a RGBLink mini on a MacBook Pro M1. The feed is good in the cards (those card have a preview window on the units), but freezes in OBS while streaming. I unplug quickly the card to fix the problem, but I would like a more "permanent" solution. The problem seems to happen to multiple users with different setups and for now, OBS didn't seems to come up with a solution. I've seen différents "fix" on the web (unplug the card, change the input in the settings, use a dedicated UBS for each capture card, witch is impossible with a laptop, etc.) but nothing seems to be a permanent solution. Since it happens with différents setups, I assume the problems come from OBS.
