Hi all. Firstly hello and thank you to everyone who contributes to OBS. I have been using it since 2020 to broadcast on Twitch and it is a brilliant piece of software. Nothing else seems to come close and I have really enjoyed using it. The flexibility in what you can do seems endless!
I am posting on here because I thought there may be someone who can spend two minutes looking at a log file (attached for 7th May when I last streamed) and say "this is the problem". I am not expecting any more effort than that for nothing.
All I would like to know really is if my laptop is simply not up to spec. I personally think it's the RAM but not sure if it's the processor too.
Just to give you an idea of what I am doing:
Thank you.

All I would like to know really is if my laptop is simply not up to spec. I personally think it's the RAM but not sure if it's the processor too.
Just to give you an idea of what I am doing:
- My laptop is a 2020 Macbook with M1 processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB hard drive
- Connected to that via two small USB hubs - two 1080p cameras, a Yamaha USB mixer, a Pioneer DJM-750 mixer, a portable hard drive and USB-C power
- When I stream (on Twitch), I run OBS, Touch Portal, maybe four open tabs in Chrome, Djay Pro & Pioneer DJM-750 (mixer) setting utility
- Running constantly in OBS, I have a video background layer, a constant HTML chat feed, another HTML layer for notifications like follows, two cameras, an audio input from the Yamaha USB mixer, a few smaller layers such as a spinning logo and a carousel of other logos
- On top of the above, I have multiple other layers that are only shown when redeemed and they are mostly animated GIFs or short MP4 files
- Those redeems come through to OBS via web sockets with Touch Portal acting as the connection between Twitch and OBS
- A lot of the layers have a filter to remove background eg. one of the cameras as it is a green screen setup
- I broadcast at 1080p
Thank you.
