So about yesterday this started happening and I have no idea how to fix it.

It would record well for a good 5-6 minutes then all of a sudden the video on the preview freezes and when I hit stop Recording, it just says "Stopping Recording" with no end.

It was working PERFECTLY 3 days ago, when I first started to use it, but when I changed the source and back this started to happen.

20:29:05.035: device_texture_create (D3D11): Failed to create 2D texture (887A0005)

It's a known issue for Windows 10 Anniversary Edition users. The cause of it is when the VRAM is low on the video card.

However...

20:18:04.902: [game-capture: 'Overwatch'] attempting to hook process: Overwatch.exe

Overwatch shouldn't even come close to using 2GB even on max textures at 1080p. I don't know what else could cause it. All I can say is try running it on minimal settings and see if it still happens.

I've been having the same issue trying to stream Forza Horizon 3. I don't think we can stream it until it gets patched or something.

HELP!!!!
MY OBS IS FREEZING ALL THE TIME NO MATTER WHAT DOWNSCALE I DO!!!

This issue is clearly Microsoft's end so far. I ended up switching back to Windows 8.1 (which was the original OS on my computer in the first place) after being fed up with this mess known as Windows 10 after the anniversary update. As mentioned it's problematic on Nvidia cards with low VRAM on games that use a lot of (such as Black Ops 3 with Extra textures). Also, I'm not getting the performance issues on OBS in 8.1 compared to doing the same stuff on Windows 10. If the staff members want I can post a log showing OBS with a GPU-intensive game on Windows 8.1 just to show evidence that Windows 10 is broken on OBS.
