Hello!
I use my cellphone as a webcam to record the services at my church. Some frame drops and such are expected, since I can only send the video feed through Wi-Fi (yeah, I know, it is sub-optimal but, unfortunately. it's the only option I have right now). However, lately the video feed from my cellphone started to "freeze" while we record, only going back to normal when we press the "Refresh" button - sometimes, we need to click it many times. This is something that did not happen before, but now it started to happen - and way more than we would like. Since I can't be in front of the PC all the time, it becomes a problem since it might show a "frozen" live until I notice and refresh it.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? We got a better internet plan and that made the company exchange the router they lent to us. Does that have something to do with this?
Thank you for the help!
Edit: i forgot to mention but I am using the IP Webcam APP for Android
