Greetings,
I ran into a video sync issue when using my Hauppauge HD PVR2 - namely the Hauppauge adds a 2-3 second delay to the video before it arrives in OBS to be encoded for streaming. If I'm capturing the game audio on the hauppauge, that of course is also delayed
Hauppauge:
Video - 2 second delay
Audio - 2 second delay
---Sync'd together
Everything else media:
Video - 0 second delay
Audio - (Delay can be changed)
---Can be sync'd together or manually sync audio to the delayed
What I'm wondering is if it would be worthwhile for a developer to include a delay option for video input sources (similar to audio delays) so that more "realtime" sources can be sync'd to delayed sources.
Thank you for taking the time to evaluate. Specifically, I'm requesting this for OBS Multiplatform, and I realize new features are difficult at this time, but I wanted to throw this in there so that it is on developer's minds. :)
