So recently I have been trying to record (and stream) some games, but I am running into an issue where my videos look very choppy and laggy. Although, in-game, there is no choppiness or lag. This only happens with some games as well. I've tried recording Fortnite because it is a less demanding game, and the video turns out smooth with no lag. But, when I try recording Star Wars Battlefront 2, which is a more demanding game, the video turns out choppy. I'm trying to record at 1080p 60FPS. Here's my specs:
GTX 1070
AMD Ryzen 2700x
16GB DDR4 @ 3000Mhz
I feel like with these parts, this shouldn't be happening. Also I have tried x264 and NVENC H.264, they both have the same result and I have messed with video quality options, yet nothing seems to help. Any help is appreciated.
