Hello Guys im new here.
The first thing I did was check the forum to see if there was already a question about my topic. But I haven't found anything suitable. That's why I'm asking you directly. My Plan is to Play with the Nintendo Switch and use the Imac as a Monitor.
I have an HDMI adapter "Video Capture with Loop". In YouTube videos, many people show that it is possible to connect this adapter to the Macbooc via the OBS software. In the video tutorials, the adapter is found as a USB cam from the Macbook. I have an Imac 2019 with Catalina. If I connect the adapter to the current software v.26.0.2, my computer can only see the internal Facetime camera. My question now is how can I solve the problem? External drivers have to be installed later. Are there system settings that have to be adjusted so that the computer recognizes external hardware?
