Video capture shows black screen

Hi. Have used OBS on a Macbook pro laptop using Elgato HD60s+ capture for 2 years, never had any issues. Only difference is 1) I updated OBS about a month ago and have not used the software since. 2) I bought a new Samsung TV which may have changed some settings on my PS5. In OBS I'm experiencing a blank capture preview window.

- I have checked the PS5 settings and I THINK they look fine. I also tried my Xbox One and also no picture.
- Mac settings 'Screen and system audio recording' is ON
- I've tried unplugging cables, replacing cables, rebooting etc. Am stumped.

Any help v appreciated.

OK I've actually narrowed this down: I think it's the new TV - a Samsung QE55S90D with Game Mode - that is causing the issue. It may be that the TV is changing PS5 settings? I've tried turning off Game Mode and changing the PS5 output manually to 1080p (saw this solution on another thread) - but it still doesn't send video to OBS.

I managed to get it working with an Xbox One, which doesn't have 4k / HDR etc compared to a PS5, so I think the issue must be the settings on the PS5 or TV. Any help appreciated.
