video capture records puts blue block in video after 1:54:50.

I use the video capture to capture broadcast tv from an hdmi capture card for viewing later. If I record longer than about 1:54:50 a blue block appears in the recording. The block is about 1/4 of the display tall and maybe 1/10 wide in the middle of the lower right quadrant of the display. I have tried 4 or 5 times at different screen resolutions an it always appears at the exact same time in each recording.

Is this something added intentionally by obs, or is it my capture device?
