Video capture freezing

I'm having an issue with video capture freezing. It just freezes up and shows a still image. This is from a camcorder.

I have a Elgato Camlink 4K USB capture device that doesn't seem to have this issue, but for reasons I won't get into, I'm trying to make OBS work with a cheaper no-name USB capture device off Amazon. Is it a faulty unit or can I make this work somehow?

OK I see your problem , you haven't loaded the correct video driver update it to the official one and try again

Or try DVGRAB tool on linux
