This issue has been frustrating me for months and finally I'm going to try and ask the community for some help.
On occasion, but more often that not, when I open OBS 0.15 I will find that my webcam capture is not displaying any video whatsoever. The source box is simply black showing only the red outline of the borders. When I open the properties window for the source, the display is just grey (deactivating and activating does not solve the issue).
This problem is independent of which USB port I'm using for the webcam (2.0, 3.0, motherboard, case, keyboard, etc.).
The webcam is a Microsoft Lifecam HD 3000.
If I keep plugging it in and out of different USB ports eventually it seems to work again but now I have to recreate my video capture sources for each of my scenes which gets very annoying.
Has anyone had a similar issue and knows of a reason/solution for this behaviour? I've a feeling it an OBS issue and not a webcam issue since it works again if I delete the troublesome source and make a new one.
