Video capture device failure

Hello. I am trying to add my webcam to OBS scene, and everything I select video capture device, OBS freezes up, and I have to task manager close it.
Iv'e tried letting it sit, I tried reinstalling OBS, restarting my PC, shutting Discord off (seems you cant have discord on when installing?)
I don't know how else to fix this as just a week ago it worked fine.
