Video camera works but only a black screen in OBS

I use a PTZ camera for streaming and it has worked well for six months. Today in OBS I got only a black screen, so could not stream our church service (audio working no problem). The camera is operating fine with other apps and the video image appears in the Properties screen. I've tried everything... advice anyone? Brand new Windows laptop and most recent OBS version.

I finally solved the problem after hours of fiddling with settings, etc. In Scene I changed the video source (it was named Video Camera) and selected Video Capture Device. Then it worked. I could see the video from the camera in Studio mode and the video recorded and streamed with no problem, just as it did before. I almost feel that installing the latest Windows update could have been the issue.
