Hi there,
New here. Been using OBS for over a year now and really enjoying it. I've created an office wide information display system using the OBS platform, its taken some time but with a huge amount of custom scripts, web servers and capture cards, it's working 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, FAULTLESSLY!
Note however, OBS randomly shuts itself off after about 4 days of continuous streaming with an 'Out of Memory' message for us, even though task manager is showing under 50% utilization, we overcame that by having our OBS 'Server' restart itself at 5am every morning, open back up and start streaming again :)
I have unfortunatly hit a stumbling block with a feature of OBS, working, it would really be the icing on the cake for our system. We had the problem on image slideshows from a directory but the work around we had was to use a browser source looking at a dynamic image carousel.
I'm sure you wonderful people know the answer if there is one but, is there a way of FORCING OBS to refresh images from a directory and videos in a playlist from a directory, this way, images and videos can be added and taken away on the fly without the need to manually refresh?
I hope you can help us :) If you want to know more about our system, I'd be happy to help.
Regards,
Toby
