VHS recording - blank screen

Hi

I'm new new this. I am trying to record from my VHS player to my MAC.
I get sound. I also get the blue screen when no video is playing. When I press play it shows a scrambled image for 2 seconds and then goes blank. I've ordered a second USB adapter from another brand it seems to do the same problem

be aware of interlaced vs non-interlaced video. Sorry, not something I've dealt directly with in regards to OBS, but there has been recent discussions on this. Search this and the other OS forums for VHS details

Auch ich versuche von einem VHS-Videorecorder auf mein MacBook Pro 2023 alte Videos zu überspielen! Hat bisher immer problemlos funktioniert, aber jetzt habe ich plötzlich nur noch den Ton und die Fenster auf denen normalerweise das Video angezeigt wird, bleiben schwarz! Kann das an den Einstellungen liegen, oder was mache ich falsch!
