Two captures of two separate VHS tapes have about a 14-minute silent space somewhere in the middle of the video capture. I am having a hard time finding a solution here. Per a recommendation I read, I am attaching a log file which I seem to remember matching the date and time of one of these recordings. Any solutions out there? Thank you.

You have a few things to fix:

HAGS should always be disabled.
Non default x264 settings could lead to issues. Actually, you're overloading the CPU.
Try using simple output mode and select one of the quality presets. The best way could be running the Auto-configuration Wizard and applying the settings it gives. Then restart OBS (!important).
Now please perform a test recording.
Look inside Help menu. Upload the current log file and paste the url to the log in here. Click on the Analize button to troubleshoot further issues.
Also, you want to uninstall the malware called mcafee.
