So I've been using OBS Studio for a while messing with the settings to get the best FPS AND Quality and stumbled upon this option: Variable Framerate (VFR) under the output tab?
What does VFR do? and is it recommended to tick it on or off?
Leave it at the default of unchecked unless you need to record at a variable frame rate for a specific purpose (i.e. if you have to ask, don't mess with it). OBS should still output video with a constant frame rate regardless.
