Question / Help Very poor quality

Well, first let I post my hardware configuration:

Notebook Dell Inspiron 5458 with Intel Core i5-5200U 4CPUs 2.2GHz 8GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 5000 and NVIDIA GeForce 920M 2GB DDR3 .

My internet link is 50Mb download, 6MB upload. My latency to World of Warcraft is between 120~190 (it's normal in comparsion with some friends that I'm playing with).

I'm using this configurations on my OBS Studio (it's in PT-BR, sorry about that):

My main issue is: every time I try to stream or record any game the video to Twitch or Facebook the video quality is very poor and sometimes it's very laggy (as I having FPS falls, but I'm not actually). I've tryed many combinations fo configurations but none takes effect.

When I stream to Facebook using Blizzard App (for instance) the World of Warcraft streaming quality is very good (720p) and I have no lag or delay issues (I have a 20sec delay but seems pretty good to me).

I've recorded some minutes of the game using other screen recorder solution (FRAPS) and it record's my screen in 720p without issues.

Now I ask: there are some thing I can do to fix this problems?

My best regards, and sorry about any english mistake.

Don't use those advanced settings ... *faster* = allot harder on cpu on which I assume your notebook cannot handle it
Go with the Default simple settings which uses VeryFast which is actually easier on cpu, but if it still lags on that one try UltraFast, but again if it still lags then switch to NVENC as the encoder and test again.

Always do tests LOCAL RECORDINGS before ever streaming since it records exactly how you're going to be streaming at

try testing these simple settings:

Yes test 2500 bitrate and as well your 5000 bitrate - if your recording is good stable then go ahead test actually streaming. If 5000 is too much then drop to 3500 or 4000

Also in video tab test both 30 or 60fps not sure how your notebook handles it, my assumption 30fps would be safer.

@sendblink23 thanks... the screens are a bit different than mine, but I made some tests and when I change the CPU usage the problem seems to be solved.

PS.: as I said on my first message I have an GeForce Videoboard. When I try to use NVENC it pops an error telling me to update my AMD drivers. Maybe NVENC only works with AMD Videoboards.

That's not what the error message says.

And for the record, the 920m doesn't have the physical parts to support nvenc, so you'll never be able to use that encoder on your system.
