Question / Help Very Low Stream Frames in Fortnite

Okay, so I've been trying to fix this for a while but no luck.

My computer can run most games at a good 60 fps perfectly fine but can't handle fortnite, and ends up streaming at the 5-15 fps mark. Help?

EDIT: Also, my game frames are fine.

Hm the only advice I can give you is trying to lower your output video resolution to 720p (1280x720) and 30 fps. But the only reason is because you are trying to stream with 1500 bitrate. for 720p@60fps you should have at least 2500, but better 3500 bitrate.

You're encountering both rendering and encoding lag. It's hard to say how much of the encoder lag is a result of the former, so the first step is to tackle the rendering lag.

Limit your in-game fps. OBS needs GPU resources to do scene rendering, so if you're letting Fortnite go crazy with framerate, it'll starve OBS. I can't remember if Fortnite has a "max fps" option, but if not then you can try using Vsync. There's also a way to force a frame limit using a program called Nvidia Profile Inspector if vsync ends up causing too much input latency.

As a side note, what's going on with your webcam sources? It looks like you're trying to add a single webcam to 5 separate sources...
