So ive been having this issue for the longest of times now. Whenever i stream i can occasionally get 60 fps to output but most the time its always jumping around from 30 to 60: anywhere in between that. Here is one example. I play overwatch on medium to low settings and when im in game i vary from 40 to 60 fps but it wont stay a solid 60. Ive lowered more settings in overwatch and also capped my in-game fps to 144 which is the refresh rate of my monitor which helped a little. BUT when im in the menu yes the f*cking menu (pardon me) my stream drops to 10-15 fps. And take note that this is just the overwatch MENU. Overwatch isnt the only game this happens in by the way. i also play rainbow six siege on medium to low settings and my stream jumps around 20-60 fps and almost never hits 60 ever. i stream at 720p 60fps and i feel that my computer is more than capable to stream this (specs at the bottom). other games like CSGO at high settings and PUBGs at very low settings i can stream at a full 60fps and there is no losing frames. This problem has been stopping me from streaming and i have no clue why its been doing this. Ive streamed with x264 and Nvidia NVENC and the results are no different. I also stream at 4500 bitrate. my upload speed is around 15mbps so i feel like thats a good spot for my bitrate. ive lowered it and raised it and there was no difference. please need some help.
