Question / Help Very low fps ever since an update (im not sure which)

Hello everyone

Ever since a while ago, obs is unable to record basically anything over 20fps. While the game maintains 60+fps the recording is usually stuck at like 15-20fps.
At best is records at like 40-50fps while the game is at like 80fps which is unusual because a month or two ago i was recording at 60fps+. Games i play are stuff like gta5 or pubg.

I'm not sure what the problem is because i tried both windows 7 and 10.

My pc specs are a 3930k @ 4.2ghz
16gb 1600mhz ram
and a nvidia geforce 1060 6gfb


-also by edit i mean either windows 10 or obs im not sure, i tried downsizing to windows 7 but i dont think it fixed anything

I noticed this to in the 20.0.1 OBS Studio Update.

Can you post a log for me please, also this is just my recommendation, switch back to your previous version.

Going to 1.9 didn't fix anything :s

Anyone? When a game is out of focus obs can do 60fps but obviously that isn't useful. When in focus obs only gets like 15fps
