Edit: Nevermind, fixed it myself. Seems to have been because I was doing a display capture, rather than a game capture. Weird, didn't think that would make much of a difference.
Hey there, I've been trying to get my OBS set up to stream Nuclear Throne. It's not a very demanding game, though whenever I'm either streaming or recording with OBS I get frequent frame-rate drops in-game. I've tried with different frame-rates, different resolutions, and different bit-rates and none of those settings seem to make any difference. If I switch from NVENC to X264, the problem is much more severe.
My average GPU usage when streaming is about 16% and my average CPU usage is 40%. None of the cores are hitting 100%, the load is pretty well spread out. It's a very undemanding game, so I'm really surprised to be having issues in the first place. My upload speeds aren't exactly stellar, but they're not bad either.
The game itself is capped to 60 FPS, though I've also tried disabling the mod and playing at 30, no difference for me. I'm also using the latest version of OBS on fully up to date Windows 10.
