Question / Help Version 17 please

Hi,

I upgraded to version 18 the other day and all seemed fine. But having just tried to use it I am getting the error:
Failed to open NVENC codec: Unknown error occurred

It says to upgrade the graphics card driver, but I have to use an old version of the driver otherwise my laptop crashes continuously. Foolishly I deleted the install for the version 17 which was working for me. Please, could someone make the latest version of version 17 available for me to download? Upgrading my graphics card driver is not an option.

Why is upgrading your graphics driver not an option? I'm not sure rolling back to 17.0.2 is going to fix anything.

Thank you very much Suslik!

It's a long story Fenrir, but I have a laptop which has an onboard Intel and a Nvidia 960M. But the BIOS won't let me disable the onboard, and Windows 10 constantly crashes with a power state failure error. I am trying to find an update for the BIOS which would allow me to disable the onboard but with no luck, and the people that sold it to me aren't being very helpful as it has been over a year. The only fix I found was to use an older and more stable version of the Nvidia driver, but eventually it is going to be out of date, and I suspect this is what caused my error in OBS 18. 17.02 was running fine.
