I'm going to keep this post brief.
VBR worked properly in version 22 - you set the bitrate (mine is 48Mbps for game recording) and it would adjust automatically. For example, when I would record a game, the recording would max out at 48Mbps and a recording of (say) my web browser would max out at around 5Mbps.
However, in version 23.0.1, if I set a bitrate (say 5Mbps) and a max bitrate (48Mbps) - then record a game - the game will record at 5Mbps. The bitrate doesn't adjust upwards as it should.
Please look into this. For now I have gone back to version 22.0.1; which works properly. I've included a screenshot of my settings for version 22.0.1 (I'm recording at 1920 X 1080 @ 60 FPS).
