Excuse the noob question, but there really isn't a lot of useful information on this combination out there.
I've bought an Logitech C922 webcam and connected it to my Ubuntu (Budgie) 18.04 LTS workstation.
I would like to use it as an source in OBS, figured I need to install the different bits and pieces of V4L2 and did so.
I now have a /dev/video0 device that points to the cam and I can use v4l2-ctl against it to query.
The cam also works fine with Cheese, Guvcview and qv4l2.
What I don't get is why it doesn't show as a source in OBS, do I need to create an additional device file or use another program to feed the webcam stream into OBS?
All help much appreciated.
