Ive been using the OBS software for my church going on 3 years. The forums have been such a great help with getting an android phone set up to use as a camera. I just donated a PTZ camera, and am having issues getting it to work the way i want it work. Ive looked everywhere, and spent the last 2 days getting crossed eyed with the information.
I bought a Tongveo 20x optical zoom camera and it works and looks great. The remote works with all the presets. I want to be able to control the camera in OBS. The camera uses USB 3.0. It has a RS485, RS 232, USB 3.0, and HDMI ports on the back. I was using PZTOptics sofware today, and the presets only saved the zoom. Ive installed older versions of OBS and currently sitting at 28.0.
One thing that i noticed, if you go in to the camera settings, select configure, it opens a properties window with 2 tabs. Select camera control, and it opens all the pan, till, and zoom settings. But i have not figured out how to get them to work as a dock.
If i cant use the settings already in the program, how do i go about getting the RS232 connection to work?
Any help is great. If i missed a forum, or a stupid setting, im sorry. I work on cars for a living, and google my way threw this stuff. lol
