Question / Help Using the file explorer causing serious performance issues.

I can run & use OBS Studio perfectly fine without a hitch until I go to select a file to add to one of my scenes. It basically makes my entire system stutter really bad & the lag goes away instantly soon as you close the file explorer window. I've only found 1 other thread on here about this issue. I'm hoping that I can find a solution to my problem.

I think your issue is caused by your 3 game_captures

Use ONLY ONE per scene collection, Resuse it.

17:23:21.494: Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 89 (1.5%)
17:23:21.494: Output 'adv_stream': Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 4610 (75.9%)

Go down 30 FPS

bitrate 3500 + 160 audio = 3660 + game needs. Maybe you don´´t have eboguh upload speed.
OR use

64K TCP window 60 sec
And connect to a server with Quality > 80

Any File Explorer or Property window I open through OBS Studio causes my whole system to have noticeable FPS lag UNTIL I close said window.

I just found the solution to my problem though, if I have the preview window enabled while browsing for an image or opening a property window, it causes the horrible FPS drop on my system.
