Hello!
So I truly hope this will be an easy question. I take German lessons through Skype and would like to record the entire desktop. I usually have the small Skype box on the right hand side of the screen, and then we use Google Docs for typing and homework review during our lesson. I tried this today during our lesson, but what happened is the video window didn't record and internet became spotty, the video cut in and out so I had to stop recording and just proceed with our lesson. Technically, you can record your Skype calls with Skype, but it just records you and the other person, I'd prefer the desktop also. I do not care / need / desire to have my video feed, like I said, I would just like the Skype mini-box (like when you hit the minimize button in Skype, and then the floating one-way video box appears) and then to be able to record audio and the desktop feed. If a kind soul could be of help, I would greatly appreciate it. In the "Sources" box, everything is working properly. It does record the desktop, the audio from both me and my teacher, but the floating Skype box didn't appear in what I was able to record earlier today.
If you have any questions, obviously please ask but I did try to be as detailed as possible. I do understand the forum does recommend uploading a log file, I'm not sure if this question necessarily needs a log file, or if it's just a setting to change. I can upload a log file if you require it.
