Question / Help Using QuickSync to encode with a monitor plugged into the motherboard.

So I don't know how to put this, but atm I'm using QuickSync to encode while streaming while playing on a dedicated GPU.
I want to know if I can plug a monitor into my motherboard to use the iGPU for a second monitor and still encode with QuickSync while using a dedicated card to play.

You can, but note that OBS will have issues capturing anything running on that monitor if OBS is still running on the dedicated GPU. As long as you're still capturing stuff on the dedicated GPU, it doesn't matter if a monitor is plugged in. QuickSync is a dedicated hardware encoder that's part of the iGPU.

I don't need to capture anything off it, I just don't have the necessary cables to plug the monitor into my dedicated GPU at the moment.
