I am brand new to OBS (have done one live stream so far). I am streaming to YouTube live. I have a group of people that I am streaming to that are particularly not tech savvy. I tried to give them a link (YouTube lets you create a shareable link ahead of time). I did give them the link but when I went live OBS created a band new stream rather than streaming to the link I had made ahead of time. I ended up streaming through the chrome browser rather than OBS but my overlay was unable to be used but I had people waiting on me so I went with it.
I will be streaming at least once or twice a week for the foreseeable future and I am wondering if there is a way to stream to a premade link rather than to a random link? I am hoping this is an easy question but I have been unable to find how to do this anywhere nor anyone with this question. Certainly this has been asked and answered. I tried searching this forum, google, and YouTube with no luck. I would appreciate any help.
