Question / Help Using OBS with Hangouts, Skype etc.

Looking for OBS experts who've been able to get it to work with Hangouts, Skype etc.

I've installed the virtual cam, made sure it is working, selected the OBS camera in Hangouts, and I get the Infinite video loop. HW acceleration is turned off in Chrome. I am using OBS on two monitors. OBS is on one, Hangouts is on the other (both connected to the same NVIDIA card).

I've been searching for answers to no avail, so any leads of what might work would be appreciated greatly.

Sounds like it's working fine and you are just seeing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_feedback.

The feedback takes over the whole screen. I am trying to share my screen and my Webcam. While it looks great on the OBS monitor, guests on the other end only see the feedback. So something isn't right. So I am hoping a solution is out there.
