Question / Help Using OBS with an Audio Interface

Hey there! I just bought a SPL Crimson Audio Interface and a Shure SM7B to boost my tone a bit.
But after installing the audio driver and plugging in the devices, I had to face the problem that OBS does not accept ANY signal from my Crimson that is not just linked through (like the desktop audio source)...

to avoid certain questions:

-> Yes, everything is plugged in correctly...
-> Yes, the Mic gain is set correctly
-> Yes, I chose the correct device both in the windows and OBS audio settings

as I said before, the desktop sound, that comes through the Crimson as well, works fine. It's just external stuff that doesnt work.

The microphone works well with my DAWs (cubase, pro tools etc), but NOT with OBS...

any ideas? I hope you can help ♥ (I hope I do not sound too bitter at times...)

Where's the log?

From what I've read about the unit in the past few minutes, anything that's 'not linked through' is only accessible via ASIO, which OBS currently doesn't support.

Lastly if the sample rate of the interface is set above 96kHz you can have issues with getting the audio into OBS.
