Using OBS to Zoom Camera Picture is blurry

I am using OBS to stream a talk. During the talk there are 2 zoom positions of the speaker one at a bit farther distance and one closer in. I set the camera up at the farther distance to begin streaming in OBS. I then try to resize OBS (from this distance) to zoom to in without having to use the zoom on the camera. The picture quality is blurry and degraded. The picture quality is not good in both OBS and YouTube. Is that normal? are there settings in OBS that I need to change?
Thanks

Setup
Panasonic AG-UX90
Lenovo i7 laptop
Magewell HDMI plus capture card
Windows 10
Streaming using a ethernet cable to Youtube
Streaming at 1080p both Camera and OBS canvas size.

My solution to this (which is sub optimal) is to make an OBS full screen preview and screen share it. This leads to a very clear image, but it has extreme latency and lag. I suspect this could be improved by applying filters to the image to simplify it, but I don't know how to do that.

I just started to have the same issues and I think it may have something to do with the new settings in zoom. They just updated zoom and added the ability to touch up how a person looks through a slider in the video controls. They also added a correction for low lighting. Interested to learn if anyone else has noticed this same issue with a blurry picture.

Very strange situation... Just happened to me... I have great quality with every other platform... Zoom is the only issue here. I am using OBS on Google Meets Webex. Not sure why this is happening
