Using OBS to Record Xbox Application on Windows 10?

Hey guys,

I am a newbie to using OBS all together. So what I am trying to do is use the Xbox Application (newest) to record gameplay from my PC that is actually streaming from my Xbox. If you are not familiar with this you can stream gameplay from your Xbox to your PC using the application, then use OBS to record it. However, I am having trouble accomplishing this and was hoping for some help.

Basically it only works very rarely and I am not sure what the problem is. The problem is that I am trying to capture the gameplay using "window mode". After restarting my PC and restarting both the Xbox App and OBS it sometimes allows me to start recording it. When it actually works it works very well too. The video quality is excellent and I do not have to worry about having a capture card or introducing input lag to my games. However, like I said it only seems to want to detect the Xbox App when it feels like it, which is not often. Any help would be greatly appreciated in advance.

On a completely unrelated note are emails from the domain "outlook.com" not allowed here? Because I have two separate ones and tried using both to sign up here on the forum (I have never been here before) and it says something like "oops the administrator has banned that email".
