We run OBS studio for our church livestream, using three cameras on USB cabling. We use our personal laptops with docking stations to run the livestream to facebook live. Depending on who is running the livestream, we might be using a new Macbook pro, or a dell laptop running windows 10. On both devices, we occasionally have a camera that "freezes". in windows, there is an option under that video device's advanced properties to "deactivate" the camera device and then "Activate" that camera. IT almost always works to restore that camera and unfreeze it. But on the macbook pro, while most settings look the same, we cannot find the option to "deactive" and then "activate" the camera device. So if the device freezes during the stream, its out for the rest of that stream, we cant fix it without rebooting everything...which means waiting until the live stream has ended. The freezing seems to happen inside of OBS, because physically restarting the camera doesnt fix it. Is that feature included in the macbook pro (MacOS) version of OBS studio? Its definitely not in the same spot as it is in the windows version...if its in there we cannot find it.
