Using my DAW and OBS recordings sound choppy and distorted.

Using my DAW and ReaStream by Cokos and VB Cable. Audio sounds great over headphones but distorted and choppy on video playback and live. A real newbie here and could use some help. I am using a Focusrite Scarlett 414 soundcard and have a very fast Acer Predator Helios laptop with 32 gigs of ram so it's not the Hardware. Monitoring from the Scarlett and it sounds great. I live stream or record an MP4 in OBS, it's just barely recognizable as music. Any help would be appreciated.

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

and dont use mp4 use mkv , mp4 is not save when the recording interupts

I am using mkv which is the default. I can't figure it out.
