I am planning to use iPhone as webcam in OBS via video capture device & Lightning Digital AV Adapter, but I am concerning if all the overlay from Apple's buil-in camera apps will appear to direct footage in OBS. Any idea?
Unlike video recording via camcorder or camera, it seems no HDMI setting in iPhone camera apps that disable the camera overlay control through HDMI.
I used to try the wireless apps (like EpocCam, iPCamera) mirroring the iPhone camera to OBS, there was no overlay on the OBS screen, but the footage delay was very obvious, making video sync not smooth at all. that's why I consider the fast speed HDMI video capture connection.
