Im runing an iMac 2017, 8gb ram ssd, 2.3 ghz i5. Lastest obs.
My goal is to have the best possible stream with one guest (or two, but one most of the times) on videocall. For this I have tested NDI sources (skype) but the sound is not always clear, some words sound cutted (for example, Example can sound like Xample).
So, I decided to go all fashion. I read that Window Capture is one of the worst options in Mac OBS so I went with Display Capture and I crop manually the guest video. This for now seems like the best choice: Display Capture and Crop because always works: facetime, google, facebok, ibs.ninja etc. What do you think?
My main question is: Currently I only crop the guest webcam and in OBS I use a Video Capture Device source to show my own webcam. Do you think it should be better if don´t use VideoCaptureDevice and instead just use Display Capture and crop the guest video and MY video? Which of this two options is best to avoid lagging or sync issues? or it does not matter?
